📚 Module 10: The World Around Us
🐾 Animals
In this module, we learn about different animals and their characteristics. We use comparative and superlative adjectives to describe and compare animals.
- Comparative: Used to compare TWO things (add -er or use "more")
- Superlative: Used to show the MOST or LEAST of something (add -est or use "most")

🌍 The Solar System
We also learn about the planets and space in this module. The solar system has 8 planets that orbit around the Sun.
- Mercury (smallest, closest to the Sun)
- Venus (hottest planet)
- Earth (our home planet)
- Mars (the red planet)
- Jupiter (biggest planet)
- Saturn (has beautiful rings)
- Uranus (tilted sideways)
- Neptune (farthest from the Sun)
- Jupiter is bigger than Earth.
- Jupiter is the biggest planet in our solar system.
- Mercury is smaller than Earth.

- Venus is hotter than Mercury.

🌸 Seasons
There are four seasons in many countries. In Malaysia, we have two main seasons: dry season and rainy season (monsoon).
- Spring 🌸 - Flowers bloom, weather gets warmer
- Summer ☀️ - Hot and sunny, school holidays
- Autumn/Fall 🍂 - Leaves fall, cooler weather
- Winter ❄️ - Cold, sometimes snowy
- In spring, flowers begin to bloom.
- Summer is the hottest season.
- Leaves fall from trees in autumn.
- Winter is the coldest season of the year.
- In Malaysia, we have the dry season and rainy season.

We use different words to describe the weather.

We learn about different sports and activities we can do throughout the year.

- Swimming 🏊 - Moving through water
- Diving 🤿 - Going underwater to explore
- I like to go windsurfing at the beach.
- We go sailing on sunny days.
